Akers Joins ARH Women’s Health Center in Middlesboro
Middlesboro ARH Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Akers, APRN, to the providers at ARH Women’s Health and Family Center.
Akers received a masters of science in nursing from Lincoln Memorial University and a masters of science in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, and is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse, specializing in women’s health. She is currently working on certification as an addiction specialist.
Akers joins OB-GYN Specialist John Williamson, M.D. and Certified Nurse-Midwife Meredith Eades Masoner at the ARH Women’s Health Center. Akers provides prenatal care, wellness exams along with education and psychological support for all women. Akers has an office at the Middlesboro ARH Women’s Health Center, which is located in the APEX Building in downtown Middlesboro.
