Beckley ARH Hospital Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Medical Mall

Healthcare and community leaders gathered Thursday evening as Beckley ARH Hospital celebrated the ribbon cutting for its new $3 million Medical Mall aimed at offering convenient access to outpatient healthcare services.

The Beckley ARH Medical Mall  has transformed the former Grand Furniture building located in the Cranberry Creek Plaza into a Medical Mall filled with doctors' offices, including Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), dermatology and women’s health specialists, as well cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation services, and the Rejuvenation Center medical spa and Greenbrier Center for Cosmetic Surgery.

Beckley ARH Community CEO Rocky Massey says the 27,000-square-foot Medical Mall, located between Pet Supplies Plus and Lowe’s, will offer residents a convenient answer to outpatient healthcare services and will free-up space and reduce traffic congestion on the Beckley ARH campus while also allowing for the addition of new healthcare services.

“Our primary objective has been to make outpatient services more convenient for our patients and address the future healthcare needs of our community,” Massey said. “This location was chosen because it is well-located in our community, has more than adequate parking and will be a viable answer for the use of the building space. ARH is proud of its role as a community partner and is excited about this Medical Mall project.”

The Rejuvenation Center medical spa and the Greenbrier Center for Cosmetic Surgery will open for business on December 3, and the remainder of the Beckley ARH Medical Mall will open for service in mid-December.

Beckley ARH Hospital is a 173-bed acute care hospital located in Beckley, WV, and is a member of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) system, a not-for-profit health system operating 11 hospitals, multi-specialty physician practices, home health agencies, home medical equipment stores and retail pharmacies in Kentucky and West Virginia.
