Beckley ARH Hospital launches new Medical Mall and Cardiac Catheterization Lab Projects
Beckley ARH Hospital has two exciting new projects totaling nearly $6 million currently underway to boost the services it provides to Raleigh and surrounding counties.
Work has begun to transform the former Grand Furniture building located in the Cranberry Creek Plaza into a $3 million Medical Mall filled with doctors' offices, including Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), dermatology and women’s health specialists, as well cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation services, and the Rejuvenation Center medical spa.
Beckley ARH Community CEO Rocky Massey says the 27,000-square-foot Medical Mall will offer residents a convenient answer to outpatient healthcare services and will free-up space and reduce traffic congestion on the Beckley ARH campus while also allowing for the addition of new healthcare services.
“Our primary objective is to make outpatient services more convenient for our patients and address the future healthcare needs of our community,” Massey said. “This location was chosen because it is well-located in our community, has more than adequate parking and will be a viable answer for the use of the building space. ARH is proud of its role as a community partner and is excited about this Medical Mall project.”
The Beckley ARH Medical Mall is expected to be completed in February 2016.
Massey says there also is much to be excited about on the main hospital campus with the construction of a cardiac catheterization lab and peripheral angiography lab. The project will total $2.7 million and will feature state-of-the- art Siemens technology and five pre/post procedure beds. The project is expected to be complete in December of this year and is anticipated to open to patients in January 2016.
