Expressions of Courage Art Show with Perry Central High Art Students

ARH Cancer Center hosted the annual art show with art students from Perry Central High on December 2. The theme was Expressions of Courage.

Perry Central High art instructor Melissa Brashear challenged students in her two art classes to create expressions of courage by focusing on words like hope, fight and warrior as their inspiration.

“The students created 37 pieces of exceptional art work for this year’s show,” shared Brittney Briggs, ARH Cancer Center.  “We are thrilled with their unique art and proud to display it at the Cancer Center.”

Three local judges selected the top three art pieces from the collection.  Winners include Makayla Burris, 12th grade, Rae Ann Blair, 10th grade and Zachary Holbrook, 10th grade. The evening event was open to the public.
