Middlesboro ARH Lunch & Learn Set for June 30
Middlesboro ARH Hospital invites ladies in the community to its women’s health series called Lunch & Learn.
Lunch & Learn offers insight and tips on a variety of women’s health issues. On Thursday, June 30, Judy Gulley, RN and Clinical Nurse Manager, will give a presentation and tour of the new Cancer and Infusion Therapy Center, which is located on the third floor of the hospital.
Gulley, a 14-year cancer survivor, is the Clinical Nurse Manager, Oncology Certified, for the Cancer and Infusion Therapy Center. She has worked for Middlesboro ARH Hospital since 1989.
According to Gulley, she is honored to work in the new Center. “As a cancer survivor, I have experienced firsthand all the emotions a cancer patient deals with when diagnosed with this devastating disease,” shared Gulley. “To be able to minister to others and help them emotionally as well as physically is very rewarding for me.”
Adult women of all ages are invited to the Lunch & Learn series. The lunch will be held in the hospital classroom, which is located near the MRI entrance at the back of the hospital. Lunch will be served at noon with the program starting by 12:15 p.m. and ending at 12:45 p.m. There will be an opportunity to win a door prize.
Ladies, to reserve your lunch, please send an email to email@example.com or call 606.242.1222. Due to limited seating, reservations are required.
