Hazard ARH Home Infusion provides a wide range of parenteral therapies including, but not limited to:

• Chemotherapy is the treatment of disease by means of chemicals that selectively destroy cancerous tissue. (Limited formulary)
• TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) is an intravenous feeding that provides patients with all essential nutrients when oral nutrition is not possible.
• Anti-infective are drugs that fight infections (e.g. antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-viral)
• Inotropics are drugs that increase the force of contraction of cardiac muscle for patients with heart failure.
• Pain Management is the control of chronic pain, usually associated with a terminal disease.
• Diuretics are agents that promote the excretion of urine through their effects on kidney function.
• Colony Stimulating Factor Therapy is a growth factor that can speed bone marrow recovery typically following chemotherapy. (Restricted formulary)
• Hydration Therapy replaces lost fluids.
• Corticosteroids are a group of synthetic hormones used in the treatment of some leukemia's, inflammatory disease, and also to suppress graft rejections.
• Anti-Emetic Therapy is an agent that prevents or alleviates nausea and vomiting, used during and sometimes following treatment with chemotherapy.
• IV Line Care is the care and maintenance of an intravenous line.
• Other: others therapies will be considered upon request. (eg: iron dextran, growth hormones, Remicade, etc.)

BREATH EASIER PROGRAM

We also provide nebulizer medications for patients with chronic lung diseases. This program allows patients to receive medications by mail in their own homes. Most insurance programs are accepted, including Medicare. (Note: Not all aerosolized medications are covered by Medicare. If you have questions as to which drugs are covered please call.)
