McDowell ARH Hospital offers most primary and a host of secondary health services which include 24-hour emergency room, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology (including CT-scans, ultrasound and mammography), respiratory therapy, cardiac stress testing, Holter monitoring, echocardiograms, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social services, swing-bed services (i.e. temporary nursing home placement), outpatient surgery (i.e., laparoscopic surgical procedures), long-term nursing facility, extended hours clinic, dietetic counseling, mobile MRI services, and a four-bed intensive care unit with eight-bed telemetry monitoring capabilities.
