Because of the special role that women play in everyone's lives, the McDowell ARH Women's Health service strives to offer special care to women of all ages. Listed are a few of the services available to our community.

Professionals within the clinic can offer a variety of services, including evaluation and/or treatment of:

• Treatment for Menstrual Problems, PMS and PMDD.
• Hormone Replacement Therapy for the symptoms related to menopause generally using estrogen and progestin.
• Osteoporosis a reduction in the amount of bone mass, which can lead to fractures.
• Thin Layer Pap Smear is a significantly more effective replacement for the conventional Pap smear. Clinical studies have shown that the Thin Layer Pap increased the early detection of precancerous cells.
• Contraception for the prevention of impregnaton.
• Mammography is the examination of the breast for diagnosis of desease or abnormality.
• Annual Wellness Exam to promote and maintain good health for women of all ages.
