Community education

Morgan County ARH Hospital speakers' bureau provides speakers for community groups interested in health-related topics. We are also involved in a variety of community activities throughout the year.

Community Support Groups

Morgan County ARH Hospital offers two opportunities for support to the community.  Sweet Friends is a group that provides diabetes education and support.  Better Breathers offers respiratory education and support.  

Community Events

Annual Health Fair-Morgan County ARH Hospital sponsors and coordinates two annual health fairs.  Adult health/wellness is in May and children's health/wellness in July.

Relay for Life-For the past three years, Morgan County has participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life program.  Each year Morgan County has ranked in the top 10 national per capita fundraising communities.

Fun Walk-Each fall Morgan County ARH Hospital kicks off the annual sorghum festival with a fun walk.  The fun walk covers a seven mile stretch of beautiful country back roads. All proceeds go toward local health/wellness programs.

Telecommunications

Morgan County ARH Hospital participates in two telemedicine/teleconferencing programs(ARH's program and St.Claire/KY Telecare) which provide immediate access to a broad capacity of medical and educational institutions throughout the state.
