Patient/Visitor Information

Visiting Hours
Visiting hour guidelines help patients get the rest they need. If you or a family member have concerns about visiting regulations, please ask to speak with the nursing supervisor. We will try our best to meet your special needs. Only two visitors are allowed at any one time to visit a patient. Generally, no visitors under 12 years of age are permitted.

Medical & Surgical Patients
12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Pediatric Patients
12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
(one parent or designee may stay overnight)

Obstetric Patients
10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

ICU/CCU
12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
(Maximum two visitors every two hours for 10 minute intervals.)

Waiting Room
Waiting areas are located on the first floor near the main entrance of the facility. A small waiting area is also available on third floor. The third floor waiting area closes at 10:00 p.m.

Chapel
The hospital chapel, located on the first floor, is available for prayer and meditation. The Chapel is located next to the public telephones.

Gift Shop
The gift shop is located in the main lobby.

9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Mail/Stamps
Stamps can be purchased in the Gift Shop. Mail drop off is also available.

Vending Machines
Vending machines are located in the basement Cafeteria. The machines are accessible 24 hours a day.

Newspapers
Local newspapers can be purchased in the gift shop, as supplies allow. Regional papers are available on the first floor next to the HomeCare Store.

Public phones
Public phones are available in the hall between the Admissions area and Radiology/Laboratory.

Telephone
Dial "0" for a hospital operator.
Dial "9" + local number
Local calls may be made by dialing "9" + the local number. For additional information on availability of telephones, ask your nurse.

Patient/Visitor Smoking
The patient and visitor smoking area is located at the front of the facility. No smoking is permitted under the covered area.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located in the basement of the hospital.

Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The pharmacy is located on the first floor next to the Gift Shop.

The ARH PrimeTime Clinic is located on the lower level of the Physician Office Building.
