Special Programs At Williamson ARH

Just for teens

For teens 13 years or older who are interested in pursuing a medical career, Williamson ARH Hospital offers an Explorer's Medical Post. Each month the group has someone from a different hospital department give a presentation, which allows members to understand the healthcare environment and ask questions about career choices. Community education

Williamson ARH Hospital coordinates community activities with our Outreach Wellness Program in order to educate the public about healthcare services and good health habits. Call Gina Justice at (606) 237-1775 for more information.

Building Blocks For A Better Future

We invite you to be part of an exciting, monumental recognition program at Williamson ARH Hospital. "Building Blocks For A Better Future" is the project's theme. Employees, community leaders and families have the opportunity to make a lasting commitment to the future of our community.

Your name, that of a family member or other special person will be inscribed on a brick which will be used to construct a sidewalk, flower beds, garden boxes for patients, etc. in the area between the hospital and skilled nursing facility.

The cost for the bricks are as follows:
Small - $25
Medium - $100
Large - $300

The funds raised will be used for the Eden Alternative Project.
The goal is to sell:
200 small bricks
150 medium bricks
100 large bricks

When the goal is reached, (after cost) $40,500 will have been collected. This will be a wonderful foundation for the Eden Alternative project.
