At the Williamson ARH Hospital, we know how stressful the thought of an operation can be for our patients as well as their family. The Operating Room is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our Surgical Services are designed to provide peri-operative nursing care to any patient requiring elective, urgent or emergency surgery regardless of age, race, religion, financial status or medical diagnosis. The department also provides care to patients undergoing GI Endoscopic exams. Surgical Services is equipped with supplies and personnel to provide care to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Surgical Services provides nursing staff, sterile processing staff and equipment to support the following surgical specialties:

• General Surgery
  • Gall Bladder Removal (via Laparoscope or Laparotomy)
  • Appendix Removal
• Gynecological Surgery
  • Total or Partial Hysterectomies
  • Tubal Ligation
  • Endometrial Ablation(TEA)
  • Dilatation and Curettage (D&C)
• Ophthalmologic Surgery
  • Yag Laser
• Urological Surgery
  • Kidney and Bladder Surgery
  • Lithotripsy
  • Vasectomy
• One Day Surgery offers many surgical procedures that may be performed without the need for an overnight stay.
• Endoscopy Department operates Monday through Friday where a variety of disorders are treated.

  • EGD with Dilation
  • Ph Testing
• Post-Anesthesia Care provides the immediate care of all patients following surgery.
• Family Waiting Areas are provided for the families of patients undergoing surgery.
