The Department of Anesthesia at Harlan ARH Hospital offers complete anesthesia services around the clock seven days a week. The department consists of an Anesthesiologist and four anesthetists, working as a team to provide quality patient care.

• Our Department is now pleased to offer a 24-hour labor epidural service. We offer the most advanced form of continuous epidural analgesia, with a patient controlled mode designed to give our laboring patients state of the art analgesia throughout their labor.
• Regional Blocks performed for appropriate procedures as the primary anesthetic or as an adjuvant for postoperative pain control.
• Peripheral nerve pain blocks are performed for post-operative pain control when appropriate.
• Expanded pain management clinics are anticipated for the future.
