About Middlesboro ARH Hospital
 Middlesboro ARH is a 96-bed, acute-care facility, which enjoys a reputation of excellence as a patient-oriented and community-centered hospital. Established in 1956, our facility is governed by Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Inc., a not-for-profit healthcare system with hospitals, clinics, and home health services in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Physician specialties currently include Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Urology, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Obstetrics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology and General or Family Practice. Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Gastroenterology consultation services are also available.
We offer all primary and a host of secondary health services which include, but are not limited to the following: a 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department, Express ER Services, CT-Scan, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, mammography, respiratory therapy, cardiac stress testing, echo cardiology, Holter monitoring, 24-hour laboratory services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, social services, same-day surgery, laparoscopic surgery, ophthalmic surgery, obstetrics/birthing room, intensive/coronary care unit, and sleep diagnostic testing.
We also have a host of homebound services available via the Middlesboro ARH Home Health Agency. Durable medical goods are available via the ARH HomeCare Store located in downtown Middlesboro.
