Speech-Language Pathology offers a full range of speech, language, and swallowing services for people of all ages. The goal of the Speech-Language Pathology Department is to provide services, including prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
Speech Therapy
- Regains swallowing skills
- Regains lost speech and language of individuals who have had strokes and/or brain trauma
- Assists with language disorders such as understanding and giving directions asking and answering questions, and conveying ideas
- Educates individuals and families to understand and deal with speech and language disorders
