West Virginia’s Real Men Wear Pink

There was only the slightest hesitation when Jeremy Hall, Associate Administrator, Beckley ARH Hospital, was asked to participate in West Virginia’s Real Men Wear Pink. He was one of 27 men in the state representing the American Cancer Society’s campaign to raise awareness and money for cancer research.

In addition to wearing pink every day for a month, Jeremy endured kind-hearted, fun-loving jabs when he strategically positioned himself at the cafeteria for a “Stuff the Bust” during lunch one day. And, thanks to his lovely wife Meghan’s creativity in decorating the bust and his attire for Pink Out, Jeremy completely went outside of his comfort zone and had a great time as the ONLY MAN invited to Pink Out. To the whoops and hollers of 180 women, STUFF THE BUST filled even more as Jeremy worked the room in true rock star fashion. Jeremy’s adoring fans contributed $747.82 to the BUST alone.

Between candy bar sales, silent auction, and private individual contributions, Jeremy finished the month as a TOP 5 fundraiser, contributing a grand total of $3,610.82.

May he live on in infamy and may the funds raised do its part in aiding cancer research. #inPartnershipWithOurCommunity #LiveLeadLoveWhatYouDo
