Patient & Visitor Information
About Your Admission
Our admissions department is your entry point into the hospital. As part of our continuum of care, the admissions process needs to be very thorough, allowing for many questions. All the information collected is a necessary part of your medical treatment.
When your doctor decides you are ready to return home, he or she will write a discharge order. The nursing staff will instruct you on caring for yourself at home and also advise you on the hospital’s check-out time. Did you know? You can have your prescriptions in hand and all your home medical equipment needs, including oxygen, before you are discharged from the hospital. Just ask your nurse or caregiver about Meds-to-Beds.
