Does MyARHChart cost me anything?
MyARHChart is a free service offered to patients of Appalachian Regional Healthcare and its physicians.

How do I sign up?
Patients who would like to use the portal will receive information at discharge, at their office visit, at registration, or by visiting our Health Information Service Department. A patient interested in the portal can enroll by clicking
Sign up” on the MyARHChart login screen. Please keep in mind that all 5 fields must match what your healthcare facility has on file: Last NameFirst NameDate of BirthSocial Security, and Email Address. If these items do not match, the patient must visit their healthcare facility to update their file.
Note: Once an enrollment email has been sent, if you do not create your account within 72 hours, a new email must be requested.

What lab test results will be in MyARHChart?
Your test results will be available online after your healthcare provider has reviewed and manually released them.
Note: not all test results are available for viewing online. Tests considered sensitive or requiring prior discussion with your provider such as pregnancy or HIV will not be available to see. If you do not see expected results within a reasonable amount of time, call your provider’s office.

If some of my health information on MyARHChart is not correct, what should I do?
Your MyARHChart information comes directly from your electronic medical record at your provider’s office and our hospitals. You can send a MyARHChart message asking your provider to correct your medical record or call their office directly. You can also have your provider update the information at your next visit.

Can I view a family member’s health record in MyARHChart?
Parents or legal guardians may request access to view their child’s record (from newborn to 18 years old). They will need to complete the appropriate paperwork in person by contacting our Health Information Services Department of your local ARH Hospital.

Can I ask questions regarding a family member from my account?
If you have health questions or information about another family member, please discuss these directly – in person only – so that pertinent information may also be updated in your family member’s health record, if necessary. Alternately, if you have access to your child’s account as described above, you may ask questions on their behalf from within their account.

Can my spouse and I or my family share one MyARHChart account?
No, due to the sensitive nature of medical information, each person must establish their own MyARHChart account.

Where can I update my e-mail address or change my password?
Log into MyARHChart. From the menu, go to the “Preferences” section and follow directions.

How is MyARHChart secure?
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure medical record numbers, personal usernames, and passwords. Each person controls their own password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. MyARHChartuses the latest encryption technology to automatically encrypt your session. Unlike conventional e-mail, all MyARHChart messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website. REMINDER: Do not use MyARHChart for urgent medical matters. If you are experiencing a health related emergency, call 911 immediately. If you need immediate attention from your physician, provider or clinic, call them your physician’s office directly.

How do I download the MEDITECH MHealth app?
Patients who wish to utilize the MHealth app can download it for free from the App Store or Google Play Store on their mobile device. Once you have downloaded and opened the app, you will need to click on My Recent Portals and select either US States > Kentucky > Appalachian Regional Healthcare or Near Me > Appalachian Regional Healthcare if you have location services enabled. Once you have selected Appalachian Regional Healthcare, you will receive the MyARHChart login screen and have access to your electronic medical record (EMR) on the go!
