West Liberty, KY – The ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities and Morgan County ARH Hospital employees are spreading holiday joy by providing Christmas gifts for 100 children in need. Through a collaborative effort with local schools, these children were identified as those who could use extra cheer this Christmas.
Morgan County ARH employees demonstrated their commitment to the community in a meaningful way, sponsoring 70 children by selecting angels from a list provided by the schools in Morgan County. The schools set a $25 limit per student to keep the gifts comparable among all the children. The employees were excited to participate and happily shopped for and wrapped gifts to help make Christmas brighter for these students.
In addition to the employees’ generosity, the ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities made a $1,600 donation to sponsor 30 additional children. This contribution ensures that no child was overlooked, bringing the total number of children in Morgan County who will receive presents to open on Christmas morning to 100.
“This initiative is a great example of our commitment to fostering healthier and happier communities,” said Angela Bailey, Executive Director of the ARH Foundation. “Partnering with schools and employees allows us to make a meaningful difference for families in our communities during the holiday season and beyond.”
The Morgan County ARH team is proud to play a part in this effort to give back to the community. “Seeing our team and the ARH Foundation come together to help children in need is heartwarming,” said Allie Archer, CEO/CNO of Morgan County ARH. “It’s an honor to work alongside such compassionate individuals who genuinely care about community well-being.”
