BECKLEY, W.Va. – Officials from Beckley ARH Hospital recently presented a donation of $4,734 to Active Southern West Virginia to help support the Beckley REFIT program.
The donation was made on behalf of the ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities.
“The ARH Foundation is proud to support organizations like Active Southern West Virginia, whose mission — much like our own — is centered on strengthening the health and well-being of the communities we serve,” said ARH Foundation Marketing and Communications Director Whittney Allen.
REFIT is a dance-based, community-centered fitness program designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels. The donation from ARH will help Active Southern West Virginia pay for training and monthly maintenance costs of the program.
