Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center celebrates Donate Life Month
SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center recognized National Donate Life Month with a flag raising ceremony Thursday.
The event included remarks from Tug Valley COO Michael Thompson, Network for Hope representatives, and Williamson, W.Va., resident Rachel Siggers, who shared her experience as the recipient of a donor heart.
According to Network for Hope, there are currently more than 100,000 people awaiting organ donation in the United States.
