January 29, 2024 – The ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities is proud to announce that because of the gifts from our generous donors, we were able to donate $3,500 to sponsor 35 children from West Perry Elementary for Christmas.
“We are so grateful for the support of ARH and the ARH Foundation,” said Carol Napier, Family Resource and Youth Service Center Director at West Perry Elementary.
Through this gift, West Perry Elementary and Mrs. Napier provided the children with necessities including socks, shoes, and coats, among other items.
“It is an honor to help children and we are committed to helping the communities we serve when they need it the most,” says Angela Bailey, Executive Director of the ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities.
West Perry Elementary is a Title 1, Pre-K-8 school in Perry County, Kentucky. Title 1 is a federal education program that supports low-income students throughout the nation. This project was a partnership between the ARH Foundation and the ARH Community Development Team.
“We are always happy to partner with our ARH Community Development Team to meet the needs of those in the communities we serve,” said Angela Bailey.
