The ARH Foundation for Healthier Communities is sponsoring Camp Noah for children who were victims of the catastrophic flooding in Eastern Kentucky in July 2022 and the first of the camps kicked off in Breathitt County on June 12th.

ARH Foundation Director Angela Bailey comments, “We are thankful that thanks to our amazing partners, we can help with this side of disaster. We have been able to disburse over $2 million in funds as well as over 4 million lbs. of physical supplies. Now we can help children directly in Breathitt, Floyd, Knott, Letcher, Perry, and Pike counties in another way in dealing with this tragedy.” WYMT also featured the Camp Noah kickoff, you can watch their story here.

Camps have been held throughout the region in Breathitt, Pike, Floyd, Letcher, Perry, and Knott counties.
