January 10, 2024 – Allie Archer has been selected for the dual role of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer for Morgan County ARH Hospital in West Liberty, Kentucky.
Jeremy Hall, ARH Regional CEO who oversees the healthcare system’s Big Sandy and West Virginia regions says, “Allie’s commitment to patient care and her focus on driving improvement in quality, safety, and fiscal responsibility make her a great fit for this role. She’s dedicated and passionate about providing patients with excellent care and has a proven track record of producing positive results for the patients, staff, and communities she serves.” Hall continued, “Allie will continue to be a champion for Morgan County and Morgan County ARH Hospital.”
Archer began her career with ARH in 2011 as part of the registered nursing staff at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center before quickly transitioning into becoming the unit shift supervisor. For almost a decade, she served as the Director of Nursing at Highlands ARH until moving to Morgan County ARH Hospital to become the Chief Nursing Officer. From there, Archer became the Interim Chief Executive Officer for Morgan County ARH and Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Highlands Regional ARH.
Throughout her leadership roles, Archer built strong teams, strengthened the bonds between departments, and worked to form close relationships with surrounding facilities. Her approach is an excellent example of thinking outside the box. Intending to enhance patient care and the overall patient experience, she cultivates innovation by using alternate care models and looking for new approaches to ensure progress.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to continue serving our community and being part of an amazing organization that encourages me to keep learning and growing,” comments Archer. “We have a fantastic team here at Morgan County ARH and I’m proud to serve the folks who care for our family, friends, and neighbors.”
Archer obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 at Morehead State University and expects to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Executive Leadership from Northern Kentucky University this year.
Seeing the crucial connection between industry and education, Archer serves as a board member for both Morehead State University’s Community Advisory Council and Big Sandy Community and Technical College’s Nursing Advisory Board. She is a member of the Nursing Advisory Committee for Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and a UPIKE Advisory Council Member.
Archer and her spouse, Sheena live in Johnson County with their 14-year-old daughter. She spends her free time outside whenever possible, snowboarding in the winter, boating, and riding side-by-side vehicles in the summer. Her love of the outdoors led her and Sheena to convert a school bus into an amazing fully functioning camper with a tiled shower, bathroom, full kitchen, and more.
