October 02, 2023 – Chip Dalton has been named Chief Revenue Officer for the multi-hospital Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) system.
With over a decade of experience in the healthcare field, Dalton has worked with the financial aspects of healthcare along with patient access operations, and focusing on ensuring patients have the best experience from admission to discharge. He has worked with various healthcare settings such as hospitals, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities, and home health services.

Dalton’s enhanced skills in staffing analysis, vendor management, and contract negotiations will benefit him in his comprehensive new role. He will continue to build on the existing strong financial foundation of the ARH Healthcare System and strive to improve patient experience.
Dalton obtained his bachelor’s in health services and master’s degree in healthcare administration from Western Kentucky University.
Dalton participates in several professional associations including the Healthcare Financial Management Association (Fellow) and the American Association of Professional Coders. He is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), Certified Specialist & Payment Reimbursement (CSPR), and Certified Specialist Physician Practice Management (CSPPM).
